2. Then, sign up for orientation at the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management

The Chaplin School requires that graduate students in the Hospitality Real Estate Development and thesis tracks participate in the Graduate Student Orientation at the Chaplin School in order to fully understand the requirements of their graduate program. Students for all other on-campus sub-plans (non-thesis & Executive Masters) are also recommended to attend this session.

2020 Hospitality Management Orientation Dates

Summer – Friday, May 8, 2020 at 1 p.m. via Zoom meetings (direct link will be emailed)

Fall – Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1 p.m. via Zoom meetings (direct link will be emailed)

The University Graduate School offers a non-mandatory orientation for new graduate students. This orientation is also conveniently available for participation online. Visit gradschool.fiu.edu to learn more.

3. Meet with Your Academic Advisor

The graduate advisor for our on-site program is Kaleena Salgueiro-Czaykowsky.

4. Register for Classes

Students may log into PantherSoft via my.fiu.edu to access their assigned appointment date and time for registration.

Students will be able to register for classes in the PantherSoft system after the appointment date and time. Please note that the majority of on-site courses at the Chaplin School are offered on the Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC).
